Welcome to the official website of The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe! Since there hasn’t been much word from us on the game’s development, we thought it would be fun to have the narrator respond to a few of the various emails and messages that you’ve sent us over the last year. We hope you enjoy it, and we thank you for your continued support of this project!
When The Stanley Parable came out, a lot of people asked us for more endings and more content.
We told them it didn't need more content, that it was fine just the way it was, that it already had the perfect number of endings.
What a sorry sack of lies that was.
We knew it. We knew it were lying and we did it anyway. We’ve carried that shame around with us for years, a burden weighing on every moment of every day.
Enough is enough.
It’s time to fix this, to unburden our shame. Let us give you our shame, for you to carry it around instead. We’re sick of it.
From the liars who brought you the award winning indie game The Stanley Parable comes The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, an expansion to the original game with more content, more endings, more whimsical adventures of the two best friends Stanley and The Narrator. Coming to PC and consoles in
Tastefully seasoned with the bitter remorse of having deceived so many loyal fans for so long.
But seriously, this time it’s done. No more.
Enter your email address and we'll send you updates about The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe as the story develops.
The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is a continuation of the collaboration between Davey Wreden and William Pugh, who were the creators of the original Stanley Parable. William’s studio Crows Crows Crows will be designing, developing and publishing!
Ultra Deluxe will contain the entire Stanley Parable, exactly as you originally played it (well, maybe one or two tweaks here and there). However we are adding a whole bunch of new content on top of it, interwoven with the content from the original game. Some of it is entirely new endings, some of it is content interspersed between the endings. All in all, the new script is shaping up to be roughly half the length of the script from the original game.
Wow, that’s a lot of pressure...
Yep! We haven’t finalized which consoles specifically, but we’re doing our best to bring the game to ~*YOUR FAVORITE*~. Whichever home video game console puts a smile in your heart, we’re probably in conversation with them already.
Please phrase it as a question.
Yep! Although because the game is so substantially different, we’re trying to find a way to make the original Stanley Parable and Ultra Deluxe both separately accessible. Not totally sure yet on how that’ll work.

It's not the fact that The Stanley Parable makes you think about the nature of choice in games that makes it extraordinary. It's the fact that it does so while simultaneously managing to be a wildly entertaining, hilarious, and surprising experience.
It's this bouncing between serious tone and irreverence that makes The Stanley Parable so special. You never know what to expect.
Where so many games that aspire to be more than games end up less than any form of art, Stanley Parable strives, and then succeeds.
Astoundingly labyrinthine onion-like layers of narrative tangents the player can embark on in what feels like the unholy interactive offspring of Inception, Being John Malkovich and Portal.
The Stanley Parable is a first person exploration game. You will play as Stanley, and you will not play as Stanley. You will follow a story, you will not follow a story. You will have a choice, you will have no choice. The game will end, the game will never end. Contradiction follows contradiction, the rules of how games should work are broken, then broken again. This world was not made for you to understand.
But as you explore, slowly, meaning begins to arise, the paradoxes might start to make sense, perhaps you are powerful after all. The game is not here to fight you; it is inviting you to dance.
Based on the award-winning 2011 Source mod of the same name, The Stanley Parable returns with new content, new ideas, a fresh coat of visual paint, and the stunning voicework of Kevan Brighting.
